IIM Americas is a tax exempt 501c(6) not-for-profit pan Indian Institute of Management (IIM) alumni organization founded in August 2013 in California. It represents Americas based alumni of the IIMs.  

The IIMs are the original pioneers of management education and research in India and today rank among the best business schools in the world. These institutes are rated as some of the toughest schools to get into. The multi-layered screening process permits only about 1300 out of about 140,000 applicants or one out of every one hundred applicants to get admitted every year. Armed with state-of-the-art management knowledge, skills and human and social orientation, IIM alumni, the creme de la  creme of managerial talent, are globally spread and occupy important leadership positions in business, academia, government, arts and sports.

The objectives of IIM Americas are:

---To play a leading role in providing informational guidance and conduct programs and services that contribute effectively to the future growth and professional development of its participants in the field of management

---To establish cooperation with other organizations that are active in management and business

---To serve as a source of information to the public state-of-art management knowledge
