Arvind Kumar, PhD, is a seasoned expert with over 18 years of experience in operations research, algorithms, and product development. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Optym since September 2005, Arvind has also held the role of Managing Director for India Operations, leading a team of 50+. In addition to contributions at Optym, Arvind serves as a Mentor and Investor at ZenOncoIO, providing strategic guidance, and as a Mentor at the Indian Institute of Management Amritsar for a capacity building program. Arvind advises multiple organizations, including Hopstack and Thoucentric Labs, focusing on applied operations research and business problem-solving. With a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Florida and additional education in leadership and strategy, Arvind combines a robust academic background with practical industry experience.
