Bidyut Kumar Patra

Bidyut Kumar Patra is an academic with significant experience in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) in Varanasi since June 2022, Bidyut Kumar Patra has previously held the position of Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela since October 2011. Additional roles include a tenure as a Research Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland from May 2013 to October 2014, and Assistant Professor at Tezpur University from March 2010 to September 2011. Bidyut Kumar Patra began an academic career as a Lecturer at Haldia Institute of Technology from August 2001 to July 2005. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and both Bachelor and Master of Technology degrees in Computer Engineering from the University of Calcutta. Early education includes a Secondary degree from Amarpur B A Institution and a Plus Two degree in Physics from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Centenary College.
