Michael Wickett

Michael Wickett is currently a Management Solution Service Specialist at iit/SourceTech. Michael has over fifteen years of experience in the food service industry, with a focus on healthcare food service. Michael began their career as a Coorperate Executive Chef/Retail Manager at New York Presbyterian Hospital in 2003. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the hospital's food service operations, including two retail cafes and a staff of over 100. Michael was also responsible for the hospital's catering operations, which served over 500 events per year. In 2010, they left New York Presbyterian Hospital to become the Director of Food Service at Lincoln Park Health Care Center. In this role, they oversaw the food service operations for two kitchens, with a staff of 38 employees. Michael was responsible for all aspects of the food service operation, including menu development, ordering, kitchen management, and staff supervision. Michael was also responsible for developing and implementing a restaurant-style dining program for the health care center's patients and residents. In 2012, they left Lincoln Park Health Care Center to join iit/SourceTech as a Management Solution Service Specialist. In this role, they provide support and guidance to iit/SourceTech's clients on how to effectively manage their food service operations.

Michael Wickett's educational career began with PCQI Training in Food Science and Technology from AIB International. Michael then pursued a degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from The Culinary Institute of America. After working in the restaurant industry for some time, they decided to return to school to study Restaurant/Food Services Management at Van Buren Skill Center. Michael later completed a degree in Hotel Restaurant and Institution Management from Bergen Community College. Finally, they pursued a degree in Food Service Management from Monteclair State University.

Michael Wickett reports to Nick Goldstein, Director, Management Solution Service. They are on a team with Lenwood Ayers - Regional Director, Dining Services, Chris Ziegler - Regional Director, Dining Services, and Tony Scaletta - Regional Director, Dining Services.
