Steven Ma has worked in the tech industry since 2012. From 2012-2020, they worked at Microsoft as a Computex Device Tester (Part Time), at TP-Link International as a Field Application Engineer, a Senior Field Application Engineer, and a Business Development Manager, and at iKala as a Senior Customer Engineer and Presales. While at TP-Link International, Steven Ma's role as Business Development Manager involved solution aggregation business, promoting solution vendors' portfolio with business acumen and technical readiness for regional teams, and orchestrating partner ecosystems.

Steven Ma received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 2012. Steven then obtained a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist : Windows Embedded Standard 7 certification from Microsoft Corporation in March 2013. In November 2016, they obtained a Project Management Profession (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
