Marta Kowalczyk

Marta Kowalczyk is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development and architecture, currently employed at IKEA since July 2024. Prior to this, Marta held senior positions at Miro, focusing on the payment platform's core and the transition from a monolithic to microservices architecture, and at Ocado Technology, where leadership in developing internal applications utilized microservice architecture and integrated with Ocado's Data Lake. Early in the career, Marta contributed as a Software Engineer at LOYCON Systems, specializing in backend web development, and gained initial experience as a freelancer and intern in software testing. Marta holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from AGH University of Krakow, completed in 2011.
