Shahin Shahkarami

Shahin Shahkarami is an accomplished professional in the field of artificial intelligence and data analytics, currently serving as the Director of the AI Lab at IKEA since June 2022, where the focus is on developing generative AI capabilities and leading a team of 15 AI experts in Amsterdam. Previously, Shahin held the position of Global Director of Data & Machine Learning, concentrating on end-to-end AI services to enhance customer experience. With experience as a Senior Data Analytics Manager at Liberty Global, Shahin led a diverse international team, overseeing data strategy, budgeting, and personnel development. Additional roles include Product Owner at Liberty Global and CPE Software Product Engineer at Vodafone. Shahin possesses a Master's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Shiraz University.
