Ao Yang

Ao Yang has a strong background in structural biology and biomolecular sciences, with experience in leading research teams and overseeing various programs focused on protein design and discovery. Starting from postdoctoral research fellowships to directorial roles in reputable companies like Ikena Oncology and Flagship Pioneering, Ao has demonstrated expertise in designing and optimizing molecules for target proteins, as well as in leading in vivo and in vitro studies for innovative modalities.

Ao Yang completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biological Sciences and Biotechniques at Tsinghua University from 1995 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Molecular Biophysics at Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2002 to 2003. Ao then obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biophysics from Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2003 to 2006.
