Ikerbasque
Francisco Borrego is an Ikerbasque Research Professor at Biocruces Bizkaia Instituto Investigación Sanitaria and Ikerbasque, holding this position since March 2013. Prior to this, Francisco served as a Senior Staff Fellow and Principal Investigator at the Food and Drug Administration from October 2008 to February 2013, and as a Staff Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from July 1995 to September 2008. Francisco earned both an M.D. and a Ph.D. in Immunology from Universidad de Córdoba.
