Horst Groß

Horst Groß has been a member of the Board of Directors since September 2017. He worked for DRV Knappschaft-Bahn-See until his retirement in 2015. There he was on the local staff council in Saarbrücken from 1980 to 2015 and on the main staff council in Bochum from 2000 to 2015. He was a union member from 1997 to 2017 as the state chairman of the Social Insurance Union (GdS). During this time, from 1989 to 2017, he represented Saarland interests on the union's federal executive board. During the same time, Mr. Groß was a member of the main board of the German Association of Civil Servants Saar (DBB) and a member of various collective bargaining commissions. From 2001 to 2016 he worked at various Saarland courts, including the regional labor court as an honorary Lay Judge.
