Mark Baumeister

Mark Baumeister has been a member of the Board of Directors since September 2017. He was previously a deputy member. He completed an apprenticeship as a chemical technician at Ruhr Oel GmbH. He was the chairman of the works council of a medium-sized chemical company until 2006. This was followed by training as a trade union secretary at the IG BCE trade union from 2006 to 2008. Since 2010 he has been managing director of the food-gourmet-restaurants trade union (NGG) in the Saar region. He is currently completing a part-time course in corporate communications. He is a member of the regional advisory board of the Saarland Employment Agency, a member of the minimum wage commission for the Saarland minimum wage, and a deputy member of the representative assembly of the Saarland Chamber of Labor.
