Helena de Frutos

Helena de Frutos started their career in 2006 as a Summer Associate at The Boston Consulting Group. Helena went on to work as an Associate at the same company from 2007 to 2010. In 2011, they briefly worked as a CRM Senior Analyst at Ermenegildo Zegna before returning to The Boston Consulting Group as a Consultant from 2012 to 2013. Helena then served as a Senior Technical Pricing Coordinator at Dufry Group in 2013, followed by a role as Senior Manager of Marketing Intelligence at Burger King Corporation from 2014 to 2016. From 2016 to 2023, Helena worked at Makro España, where they held various positions including Head of Value Creation, Head of Food Service Distribution, Field Force and KAM, Head of Own Brand, and Head of Buying (Fresh and Frozen) and Commercial FSD. Their most recent position, starting in 2023, is Group Procurement Senior Director at Ikos Resorts and Sani Resort.

Helena de Frutos has a diverse education history. From 2002 to 2007, they attended Comillas Pontifical University and obtained a degree in Business and Management with a focus on Finance. In 2005, they participated in an exchange program at Emory University's Goizueta Business School. In 2010 to 2012, Helena pursued an MBA and obtained a Certificate in Sustainability at MIT Sloan School of Management. In 2019, they attended San Telmo Business School, specializing in Business and Management with a focus on InFood. Additionally, they hold a Sustainability Certificate from MIT Sloan School of Management.
