Yara Smirat

Yara Smirat is an experienced professional currently serving as the AVP of Digital Experience and Marketing Department Manager at ila Bank since November 2021, having previously held the position of Digital Experience Unit Manager. Prior roles include assistant manager at Ahli Labs and Artist In Residence at Jordan Ahli Bank from November 2019 to November 2021, and Head of Design and Development Department at Comprehensive Multiple Transport Company from August 2016 to October 2019. Yara also contributed as a Freelance Design Researcher for the International Rescue Committee in early 2019 and worked as a designer for the Amman Design Week Team in 2016. Intern experience includes a traineeship at UGW AG in 2014. Yara holds a Master's degree in MBA Marketing and a Bachelor's degree in Design and Visual Communications from German Jordanian University, along with additional study at Hochschule Mainz - University of Applied Sciences. Early education was completed at the National Orthodox School.
