Hacer Turgut

Hacer Turgut is a seasoned professional in data science and engineering, currently serving as Data Team Manager at iLab since June 2021, where oversight of advanced data-driven projects and database management occurs across various platforms including BigQuery and SQL. Previous roles included Data Science Lead and Senior Data Scientist, with key contributions such as fine-tuning the BERT language model and developing a causal inference methodology for advertising impacts. Prior to iLab, Hacer worked at OakNorth as a Data Scientist, enhancing credit analysis through advanced analytical tools, and served as an Artificial Intelligence Researcher at Sefamerve, leading innovative AI development and securing funding for technological projects. Hacer also held the position of Teaching Assistant at İstanbul Şehir Üniversitesi, providing educational support in machine learning and big data courses. Hacer holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Marmara University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from İstanbul Şehir University.
