Zaneta Aluvale

Zaneta Aluvale has been working in the professional world since 2010. Zaneta began their career as a Dental Assistant at Family Dentistry Kenya, where they shadowed Dental Surgeon Dr. Oliver Wala (BDS,Nairobi University) and developed x-ray films, impressions, and carried out basic cleaning of the teeth. Zaneta also worked as an assistant receptionist on a few occasions. In 2014, they took on the role of Student Ambassador at Manchester Metropolitan University, where they presented at assemblies and facilitated workshops about higher education. In 2015, they became a Team Leader at both Manchester United and Verve People. In 2021, they took on the role of Research Scientist at Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), where they assisted with project field surveys and carrying out laboratory assays, implemented all components of study protocol at site level, and ensured compliance to protocol and procedures for all study components. In 2022, they began their current role as Lab Growth Associate at Ilara Health.

Zaneta Aluvale's education history includes a Master of Science in Food Science and Innovation from The Manchester Metropolitan University (2018-2019), a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and Forensics from The Manchester Metropolitan University (2014-2018), an Associate's Degree from The Manchester College (2013-2014), and High School from Rusinga Schools Nairobi (2010-2012) and Brookhouse International School (2008-2010).
