Allison Bravo

Allison Bravo has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Allison began their career as a Social Studies Teacher at Kalani High School, where they developed educational lessons and assessments and helped students develop important learning skills. Allison then worked as the Owner and Certified Childbirth Educator at Bravo Birth Doula, providing community support and teaching childbirth education programs.

Allison later became the Founding Virtual Academy Lead Teacher at Academies of the Antelope Valley, where they observed and evaluated students' performance and incorporated educational software and technology for interactive learning. Allison then founded and led Empower Generations, where they devised the organizational vision and acquired significant grants and donations for the school's financial stability.

In their role as Program Coordinator (Assistant Principal) at iLEAD Online, Allison revamped office support systems and team responsibilities, leading to a significant increase in school enrollment. Allison also created and directed a successful contingency plan for distance learning in response to COVID-19.

Currently, Allison works as the Director of School Initiatives at iLEAD Schools, where they analyze data and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of new programs and initiatives. Allison has successfully managed the accreditation process for six schools under WASC, achieving a 100% full accreditation rate.

Throughout their career, Allison has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving educational experiences and ensuring academic success for students.

Allison Bravo holds a Master of Education (MEd) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, which they obtained from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the same institution, from 2003 to 2007. In terms of additional certifications, Allison has obtained the following: Team Building from iL in January 2021, iLEAD California Staff Member from iLEAD Schools in November 2020, and Restorative Practices for School Leaders from an unspecified School. Allison has also pursued certifications as a Google Educator Level 2 and a Microsoft Certified Educator, although the specific completion dates for these certifications are not provided.
