John Carrington

John Carrington has a diverse work experience in the financial industry, with their most recent position being Senior Vice President of Market Strategy at iLendingDIRECT since 2019. Prior to that, they served as Senior Vice President – Sales at CU Direct from 2002 to 2018. John also held the role of Regional Manager at United Auto Credit Corporation from 2000 to 2002, and Director of Originations at Charter One Auto Finance from 1996 to 2000. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of Collections and Servicing at MS Financial, Inc. from 1995 to 1996, and as Vice President - Commercial Lending at BayBank from 1994 to 1995. John'scareer began at General Motors Acceptance Corp as a Credit Manager from 1984 to 1994.

John Carrington obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma from 1978 to 1982. John then pursued further education at Central Michigan University from 1988 to 1991, obtaining a Master's of Science in Administration.
