Olivier Travers

Olivier Travers has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Olivier started their career as a Second Lieutenant in the French Army, where they received training in infantry and combat engineering skills. After their military service, they worked as an Account Manager at AT&T GIS/NCR, where they sold PCs and video conferencing equipment.

Travers then joined Microsoft, where they held the positions of Channel Account Manager and Account Manager. In these roles, they managed resellers, trained and motivated partners, and significantly increased revenue.

Following their time at Microsoft, Travers became self-employed as an Internet Entrepreneur and Consultant. Olivier worked on multiple online advertising and publishing projects, providing temporary management for start-ups and assisting with their strategic operations.

Travers later co-founded two companies, Watershed Publishing and Defense Industry Daily. As the CEO and COO of Watershed Publishing, they managed all aspects of the business, including editorial, sales, tech, and operations. At Defense Industry Daily, they developed and executed strategies for frequently-updated online trade publications.

In 2015, Travers joined Needle Stacker as a Principal Analyst, where they specialized in helping organizations grow revenue and improve operations through SaaS and API selection, architecture, integration, and business intelligence.

Most recently, they joined iLink Digital as a Senior Director of Enablement & Partnerships.

Olivier Travers earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Sales & Marketing from ESSCA, where they attended from 1989 to 1993. In addition, Olivier has obtained various certifications from Microsoft and edX/Microsoft, including Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals [DP-900], Microsoft Azure Fundamentals [AZ-900], Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI [DAT207x], and Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Excel [DAT206x].
