Andrea Girgenti

Andrea Girgenti has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. They started their career at JP Morgan in 1992 as an Equity Researcher, and then moved to a Junior Associate position at the same company in 1994. In 1997, they joined Beiersdorf as an Assistant Treasurer, where they gained exposure to cash management, treasury activities, and financial control. They then joined Goldman Sachs in 2001 and worked there as a Vice President for 13 years. In 2014, they joined HETA ASSET RESOLUTION ITALIA as the Head of Compliance and AML. Following that, they worked as the Head of Operations at Aquileia Capital Services S.r.l. from 2017 to 2018. Currently, Andrea is employed at illimity, where they hold the role of Head of General Affairs & Legal Operations since July 2022, and previously held the position of Head of Administration, Control & Central Functions / Neprix since October 2018.

Andrea Girgenti has a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from SDA Bocconi, which was obtained between 1996 and 1997. Prior to that, between 1988 and 1993, they studied Business Administration at Università Bocconi. Andrea completed their high school education at Liceo Ginnasio Gonzaga in Milano, earning a degree in Maturità classica from 1983 to 1988.
