Luca Sommacal

Luca Sommacal has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Luca is currently working at illimity as the Sales Director for Vendor Finance & Key Accounts. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Commercial Network at illimity. Before joining illimity, Luca worked at October Italia as the Head of Sales for three years. Luca also worked at Banca IFIS as the Sales Director for Capital Markets and Business Development, where they were responsible for managing and developing the syndication desk and creating new solutions. Luca's prior experience includes working at GE Capital in various roles such as Sales Director for Industrial, New Markets and Products Development, and Sales Leader for Equipment Finance. Additionally, they worked at Banca Italease as the Head of New Products Development and at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Credit Manager in Structured Finance. Throughout their career, Luca has demonstrated expertise in sales, business development, relationship management, and creating and implementing new products and solutions.

Luca Sommacal completed their Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Purdue University Daniels School of Business in 2002. Additionally, in the same year, they earned a Master in International Management from TIAS School for Business and Society. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1994, Luca attended Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, where they studied Economics.
