Luigi Celona

Luigi Celona has a strong background in software engineering and IT application analysis. Luigi started their career in 2015 at UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions, where they worked as an IT Application Analysis Specialist. Luigi was responsible for software development, building, deployment, and maintenance of Independent Price Validation (IPV) process for Market Data instruments. Luigi also developed and maintained batch processes written in Java 7. In 2017, they joined SIA S.p.A. as a Software Engineer, where they worked in the Network Architecture area on the Instant Payments project. In 2018, they moved to illimity and took on the role of Software Engineer. Luigi later became a Team Leader in Software Engineering and eventually became the Head of ICT Channels Back-End & Data Engineering.

Luigi Celona obtained a laurea magistrale in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they received a laurea triennale in Ingegneria informatica from Università degli Studi di Messina from 2009 to 2013. In addition, Luigi has obtained certifications in Advanced R Programming, The R Programming Environment, Machine Learning With Big Data, and IELTS score of 6.5. Luigi also has a Preliminary English Test (B1) from Cambridge University Press.
