Brent Stratton is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in public interest law and litigation. Currently serving as Chief Deputy Attorney General at the Illinois Attorney General's Office since July 2005, Stratton has held various leadership roles within the office, including Assistant Chief Deputy Attorney General and Deputy Chief of the Public Interest Division. Prior to this, Stratton was a Partner at McGuireWoods and Jenner & Block, where responsibilities encompassed both partnership and associate roles. Stratton began legal career at Patrick A. Tuite & Associates and Tuite, Stratton & Menaker. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from Whitman College.
