Jessica Chu

Jessica Chu is currently a doctoral student at the Illinois College of Optometry, pursuing a Doctor of Optometry degree from 2023 to 2027. Prior experience includes working as an optometric technician at Oak City Vision Center from June to August 2022, where responsibilities encompassed recording patient histories, performing diagnostic pretests, preparing examination rooms, and shadowing an optometrist. Jessica also participated in clinical trials testing a product prototype related to glaucoma and contrast vision. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned in May 2023, and graduated with a high school diploma from Dalton McMichael High School in May 2019.
