Lia H. Daniels has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to the present. Lia H. started their career as an Accreditation Support Specialist at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2009. In 2010, they joined AmeriCorps NCCC as a Unit Support Team Leader and served until 2012. In 2013, Lia worked as an Analyst Intern on the Health Care Team at the U.S. Government Accountability Office. During the same year, they also served as an Analyst at the Center for Value-Based Insurance Design at the University of Michigan. From 2014 onwards, Lia has been associated with the Illinois Health and Hospital Association, where they have had various roles including Administrative & Public Policy Fellow, Policy Manager in Health Policy & Finance, and currently as the Director of Health Policy.
Lia H. Daniels pursued their education at the University of Michigan from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in the field of Health Management and Policy. Prior to this, from 2005 to 2009, they attended the College of Charleston, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Anthropology and Psychology.
