Rick Ciurej

Rick Ciurej has extensive experience in audio and video technology, currently serving as an AV Systems Engineer at the Illinois Institute of Technology since October 2002. In this role, Rick ensures the optimal operation of AV technology in lecture capture classrooms and stays updated on advancements that benefit educational environments. Previous experience includes serving as a Television Station Engineer, where responsibilities included technical setup and troubleshooting of audio and video equipment for distance learning, and a Broadcast Engineer at WYIN-LakeShore Public Television, focusing on broadcast equipment maintenance. Additionally, Rick owns Sound Wave Productions, providing DJ and sound services. Prior to these roles, experience in ground operations at Southwest Airlines and several positions in the retail electronics sector rounded out a diverse professional background. Rick holds a Certificate in Electronics from Daley College and graduated from St. Laurence High School.
