Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra
Brian Ostrega currently serves as Music Director for the Suburban Youth Symphony Orchestra, leading its core ensembles, and also holds the position of Assistant Music Director, directing the Incredible Opportunity Program. Additionally, Brian provides violin instruction at the Beverly Arts Center and serves as an Adjunct Violin Teacher at Trinity Christian College. Experience includes roles as Orchestra Librarian and Section Violin 1 for the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as Section Violin for the Peoria Symphony Orchestra and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Brian's teaching background also includes a position with Musical Expressions. Academic credentials include a Master of Music in Violin Performance from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
