Illinois Policy exists to give a voice to the voiceless across the state. We believe Illinois should be a place where people of all talents, interests and cultural backgrounds can succeed with hard work and ingenuity. We want families to feel confident in planting their roots in Illinois soil. We want to live in a state where communities flourish and good opportunities abound.

We champion reforms to address Illinois’ most critical economic issues. With more than $250 billion in unfunded government-worker pension liabilities, the top tax burden in the nation, and businesses and taxpayers fleeing in record numbers to other states, Illinois desperately needs a comeback story.

Our research and policy solutions are written through the lens that the free market is the greatest force for good in the human sphere.

By unleashing Illinois’ talent and entrepreneurial ability, the Land of Lincoln can rise once again.

This is why we fight. Illinois’ comeback story starts here.
