Alex Cain

Alex Cain is an experienced professional in athletic event management and operations with a notable career in various roles across multiple institutions. Currently serving as the Assistant Athletic Director for Game Operations at Illinois State Athletics since July 2021, Alex previously held positions such as Event Manager at the University of Missouri-Columbia and various roles at Eastern Illinois University, including Event Management and Gameday Operations Graduate Assistant. Alex's foundational experiences also encompass grounds crew and field maintenance at Oregon Park District, alongside volunteer work with Special Olympics and various roles in youth camp activities. Alex holds a Master’s degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, both from Eastern Illinois University.
