Kristen Daly Kennedy has a strong background in education and law. Kristen began their career in 2004 as a Teacher at Chicago Public Schools and later transitioned to the role of Assistant General Counsel at the same organization in 2011. In 2016, they joined the Illinois State Board of Education as an Assistant General Counsel and subsequently served as Deputy General Counsel. Currently, Kristen holds the position of Chief Legal Officer at the Illinois State Board of Education.
Kristen Daly Kennedy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Loyola University of Chicago in 2003. Kristen later pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) at The John Marshall Law School, completing their education in 2008.
