Matt Stitzer

Matt Stitzer currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer at Tonal since March 2025. Prior to this role, Stitzer was the General Counsel and Head of Business Affairs at Athletic Club Momento from July 2021 to March 2025 and provided external counsel to Invisible Universe, CommentSold, and Vi Technologies between March 2018 and November 2021. Stitzer has also held significant positions such as Vice President of Marketing Video Content Operations at A+E Networks and Head of Video Operations and General Counsel at Daily Burn from November 2011 to August 2017. Notably, Stitzer previously served as General Counsel for Tinder at Hatch Labs and for Pronto, as well as Associate General Counsel for Schroders overseeing Latin America operations. Stitzer began a legal career as a Corporate Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity. Stitzer holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. with Honors in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, Stitzer contributed as a Board Trustee at the University of the West from June 2010 to June 2017.
