Amy Hurd

Amy Hurd has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Amy began their career at Champaign Park District in 1989 as a Marketing Director, a role they held until 1997. In 2000, they joined Indiana University Bloomington as a Visiting Lecturer. The following year, in 2001, they started working at Illinois State University, where they held various positions including Professor and Director of the Graduate School. Their most recent role at Illinois State University was as the Associate Vice President for Undergraduate Education, which they started in January 2019.

Amy Hurd obtained their PhD in Recreation Administration from Indiana University Bloomington between 1997 and 2001.
