Samantha Schultz

Samantha Schultz is the Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications for the Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality division at Illinois State University, a position held since January 2023. Previously, Samantha served as an Adjunct Instructor and Lecturer in communication at Heartland Community College and Illinois State University, respectively, where responsibilities included course planning and student engagement. Samantha's extensive background in event management includes roles as Director of Operations and Director of Weddings & Events at Palace Events. Additionally, Samantha gained experience as a Graduate Student Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Illinois State University, alongside earlier positions such as Event Coordinator and Office Secretary. Samantha holds a Master's degree in Communication and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Teaching and Learning at Illinois State University.
