Sergey Chernov

Sergey Chernov serves as the Group CIO at ITW since 2021, where leadership encompasses IT operations across a portfolio of 15 divisions in 33 countries, supported by over 220 IT staff. Prior to ITW, Sergey was the VP of Corporate IT & Enterprise Architecture at Ensono from 2019 to 2021, focusing on building an internal IT function and optimizing technology integration from acquisitions. From 2016 to 2019, Sergey directed Global IT Delivery at Hollister Incorporated, managing a project portfolio exceeding 50 projects annually. Previous roles include Director of Applications Management at NiSource, where Sergey ensured application uptime and modernization, and Director of Enterprise Architecture, establishing governance processes. Additional experience includes positions at Northeastern Illinois University, Deloitte, Emerson Electric, and Indiana University. Sergey holds a Master's degree in Information Systems Management from Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Indiana University Northwest.
