Elizabeth S. has over 30 years of work experience in the technology industry. Elizabeth began their career in 1987 as an ISG Technical Support - Systems Programmer at LTV Steel. Elizabeth then moved on to become the Founder of PerMedia Group in 1998, where they developed custom software for web-based document management systems. In 2002, they became a Product Manager at EdConnections, where they championed the product's conversion from custom software to a licensed product. In 2007, Elizabeth was Internet Director at Ingenuity Cleveland, where they developed and managed the Internet presence for an annual four-day destination Art & Technology festival. Elizabeth then became a Senior Web Developer as a Consultant & Contractor in 2005. In 2011, Elizabeth joined Austin Women in Technology (AWT) as a Drupalista and Web Committee Member, where they converted the non-profit networking and mentoring group membership management site from self-hosted Drupal+CiviCRM to SaaS Wild Apricot. Finally, in 2014, Elizabeth became an Internet Director at illumai, where they were responsible for corporate web properties, retail and wholesale eCommerce sites, marketing campaign implementation, product fulfillment, and customer service.
Elizabeth S. began their education at the University of Denver from 1981 to 1983. Elizabeth then attended Case Western Reserve University from 1983 to 1987, where they received their Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Engineering. After that, they attended Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University from 1994 to 1996, where they received their Master of Science in Engineering in Software Engineering Management/Practice-Oriented.
