Vanessa Rosa, MS, currently serves as an Embryologist at Illume Fertility, having joined the organization in May 2022. Prior to this role, Vanessa was a RADx-UP Research Assistant at the West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute from March 2021 to May 2022, where contributions included enhancing COVID-19 testing access and conducting research on community attitudes toward testing. Vanessa has significant research experience, including work as a Graduate Student Researcher at Northwestern University, focusing on Notch signaling in granulosa cell function, and nearly 2000 hours of laboratory research. Earlier positions include roles as a Science Tutor and Laboratory Assistant at The College of New Rochelle, a Urology Medical Scribe at ScribeAmerica, and serving as President of CNR's Science and Math Society. Vanessa holds a Master’s degree in Reproductive Science and Medicine from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from The College of New Rochelle.
