Melanie Haroldson

Melanie Haroldson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design. Melanie is currently working as a Design Director at both Good Chemistry and ILLUME® since October 2022. Prior to this, they owned their own business called Haroldson Art & Design from April 2017 to October 2022, where they acted as the Owner and Creative Director. Melanie also co-founded Pegboard in July 2017 and worked as a Co-Founder and Creative Director until February 2020.

Before starting their own ventures, Melanie worked as a Creative Director at Treat and Company from October 2014 to May 2017. In this role, they led the Creative Team, established standards, fostered collaboration, and managed resources. Melanie also represented the brand, managed client expectations, and maintained profitability. Additionally, they played a key role in new business relations, representing the company to prospective clients and partners.

Prior to Treat and Company, Melanie worked as an independent creative from March 2008 to October 2014. Melanie served various clients, including Target, New Balance, Hasbro, Thymes Fragrance Co., and Caribou Coffee. Melanie'sresponsibilities included in-store marketing, display design, photo art direction, packaging design, logo development, catalog layout, and design.

From June 2007 to January 2008, Melanie worked as a Senior Designer at Gartner Studios. Before that, they held the position of Art Director/Designer at Target Corporation from June 2004 to June 2007. Melanie began their career as a Designer at Bamboo from March 2002 to May 2004.

Throughout their career, Melanie has showcased their expertise in design, leadership, brand representation, client management, and strategic planning.

Melanie Haroldson attended Minnesota State University Moorhead from 1994 to 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design.
