Ashutosh Shastry

Ashutosh Shastry, PhD, is an accomplished engineering leader currently serving at Illumina as Engineering Leader for Advanced Platforms since October 2022. Previously, Ashutosh held various senior roles, including Chief Technology Officer at a stealth mode biotech focusing on non-viral gene delivery and Senior Vice President of Engineering at Siphox Inc., where Ashutosh led integrated engineering management functions. As President and CEO at Evanostics, Ashutosh successfully transitioned a concept into a working product utilized in pain management clinics. Other positions include Acting Head of Product Development at Pinpoint Science, Inc., Vice President of Research and Development at iNDx LifeCare, and Director of Engineering at Corium, Inc. Ashutosh's academic credentials include a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, along with an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology and various other degrees and certifications.
