Jonathan Millican

Jonathan Millican is a Senior Scientist at Illumina since May 2022, previously serving as Scientist 1. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher position at Neue Materialien Bayreuth GmbH from July 2020 to December 2021 and at the University of Koblenz and Landau from December 2019 to June 2020. Jonathan Millican completed a PhD at Durham University, where tenure spanned from October 2014 to December 2019, also undertaking a Researcher role at Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden for two months in late 2017. Earlier positions include an Industrial Placement Student at AkzoNobel in 2012 and a Research Internship at Shanghai Convertergy Energy Technology. Co., Ltd. in 2013. Educational qualifications include a degree in Chemistry from the University of York (2009-2013) and a specialized doctorate in Polymer Chemistry and Soft Matter from Durham University (2014-2018).
