Leon Telyaz

Leon Telyaz currently serves as Senior Director of Finance & Advanced Analytics at Illumina, beginning in October 2023. Previously, from May 2018 to March 2023, Leon held the position of Head of Finance for Google SMB Ads GTM, where significant achievements included developing a pioneering Lifetime Value framework and optimizing substantial Sales & Marketing investments. Prior to Google, Leon spent over 16 years at Capital One in various leadership roles, such as Vice President, overseeing marketing and analytics across multiple business areas, managing $30 billion in assets, and orchestrating key M&A initiatives. Leon’s educational background includes an M. Eng. in Engineering Management from Cornell University and an MBA from Koç University, along with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Boğaziçi University.
