Paul Wenz

Paul Wenz is an accomplished biostatistician with extensive experience in both the biotechnology and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as Associate Principal Biostatistician at Illumina since November 2016, Paul has progressed through various roles including Senior Staff Biostatistician and Staff Biostatistician. Prior to this, Paul held the position of Statistics and SPC Manager at Intel Corporation from September 1992 to May 2016, where responsibilities included managing a team of statisticians and enhancing statistical methods for manufacturing processes. Additionally, Paul contributed significantly as a Senior Statistician, improving statistical proficiency among engineers globally and serving as the chief design architect for a suite of standardized JMP analysis tools. Paul holds a Master’s Degree in Statistics from Iowa State University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Luther College.
