Robert Meltzer

Robert Meltzer is an established scientist with extensive experience in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as Associate Principal Scientist at Illumina since July 2024. Previously, Robert was the Senior Director of Applications and Strategic Partnerships at Fluent BioSciences Inc., where contributions included co-founding the company and advancing single-cell analysis methodologies utilized in over 500 laboratories globally. With a strong background in microfluidics and biomedical device design, Robert held roles such as Director of Advanced Projects at RHMconsulting and NGS Technology Lead at Celsius Therapeutics. Robert’s career also includes significant research positions at leading institutions, culminating in a Ph.D. in Molecular Physiology and Biophysics from Baylor College of Medicine.
