Yi Xue

Yi Xue currently serves as Associate Director of Scientific Research at Illumina, beginning in July 2024. Prior to this role, Yi Xue held several positions at Fluent BioSciences Inc. from July 2019 to July 2024, including Director of Chemistry & Process Development, Associate Director of Chemistry & Process Development, and Principal Scientist. Yi Xue has also worked as a Senior Process Development Scientist at DOTS Technology Corp from January 2018 to June 2019, a Senior Scientist and Scientist at Bio-Rad Laboratories from May 2014 to November 2017, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC Berkeley's Department of Material Science and Engineering from August 2013 to May 2014. Earlier academic experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Brown University from September 2008 to June 2013, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Institute of Chemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2007. Yi Xue earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Brown University and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China.
