Christoph Leuze is a prominent expert in the field of mixed reality and medical applications, currently serving as the Founder of Nakamir since April 2019, where the focus is on leveraging Augmented Reality and AI to develop personal expert systems. Additionally, Christoph holds the position of Technical Advisor at Illuminant Surgical and serves as the Executive Director at Stanford Medical Mixed Reality. At Stanford University, Christoph has been the Director of the Stanford Wu Tsai Visualization Core and a Research Scientist since October 2013, overseeing NIH-funded projects related to mixed reality in medicine and teaching courses on the subject. Prior experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences, and a Visiting Scholar at the National Institutes for Quantum and Radiological Science and Technology.
