Michelle Smith

Michelle Smith has a diverse work experience starting as an Accounts Payable Analyst and Supply Chain Analyst at Inergi LP from 2000 to 2005. Michelle then worked as a Supervisor of Contract Management at Capgemini from 2005 to 2008. Following this, they joined LafargeHolcim, where they held various roles such as CapEx Analyst, Process Support Accountant, Business Relationship Manager, Head of Business Engagement, and Agile Project Management, between 2008 and 2021. Michelle then became the Director of Operations for Canada at NIMBL, Techedge Group from 2021 to 2023, before transitioning to their current role as Vice President Delivery, Mining at ILLUMITI in 2023. Throughout their career, Michelle has demonstrated leadership, team building, process improvement, large-scale system integration, and project management skills.

Michelle Smith attended Brock University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained an Honours Bachelor of Recreation and Leisure Studies. In 2018, they also obtained a Business Relationship Management Professional certification. Additionally, in 2020, they received certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Agile Leadership - Essentials, Certified Agile Leadership - Teams, and ITIL4 Foundation.
