Brandi Griffin-Tyler

Brandi Griffin-Tyler has a strong background in marketing and communications. Brandi is currently the Vice President of Marketing at Illustrative Mathematics since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at ICF Next as a Senior Marketing Consultant from June 2017 to March 2021. Brandi also served as a Public Relations/Marketing Strategist at the State of Georgia from April 2015 to June 2017 and as a Communications Strategist at the City of Atlanta from September 2009 to August 2014. Furthermore, they held the position of Director of Event Operations at Afterburner from May 2007 to December 2009 and worked as a Marketing Assistant at EY from September 2006 to May 2007. Finally, they started their career as a Marketing Consultant at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from June 2002 to July 2006, where they managed events, developed marketing initiatives, coordinated collateral development, and maintained customer databases.

Brandi Griffin-Tyler's education history begins in 1997 when they attended Dillard University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management/Marketing. Brandi then pursued further education at The George Washington University School of Business from 2007 to 2008, where they earned a certification in Event Management. In 2008, they continued their studies at the same institution and completed a Masters of Tourism Administration degree with a specialization in Hospitality & Tourism, which they obtained in 2010. Brandi further enhanced their expertise in 2015 by completing a certificate program in Project Management at Emory University.
