Marissa Martinez-Hoadley

Marissa Martinez-Hoadley is a seasoned professional in Quality Assurance with extensive experience in the gaming and interactive technology industries. Since August 2018, Marissa has served as the Manager of Quality Assurance at ILM Immersive, overseeing QA efforts for innovative VR, AR, and MR experiences. Prior roles at Linden Lab included QA Manager for Sansar, where Marissa established testing procedures and maintained bug classification standards. Marissa's journey began at LucasArts, where as a Senior Lead Tools Tester, Marissa created the first Tools QA department, significantly contributing to major game releases. Additional roles included leadership positions at Industrial Light & Magic and foundational experiences in graphics card testing early in Marissa's career. Marissa holds an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from Heald College.
