Sami Ärilä

Sami Ärilä has had a long and successful career in Human Resources, most recently serving as the EVP of People and Culture at Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company. Prior to that, they served as the EVP of HR and Communications at Etera and as the SVP of Human Resources at SSAB. Ärilä has extensive experience in managing large teams of HR professionals and in leading HR initiatives, such as the integration and harmonization of HR functions and practices in Sweden and Finland. Sami is a member of the Global HR Management Team and the Group HR Management Team.

Sami Ärilä has a Masters in Law from the University of Helsinki, and is a certified coach from Valmentamo. Sami also has a certification from Hanken & SSE Executive Education in Succeeding in the New Economy.
