Paula Franklin has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Paula started their career as a Project Manager at Att Veta AB, where they worked on web-based learning games and interactive learning material. Later, they joined Ztorm AB as a Category Manager, where they worked on digital distribution platforms and support systems for computer games, movies, and audio books. Paula then worked as a Backoffice Manager at Garantibil Sverige AB, creating a customer support department for selling and buying used cars online. Currently, they are the Head of Customer Support Nordics at ILT Inläsningstjänst. Paula also has experience as a freelance professional.

Paula Franklin attended Umeå University from 1990 to 1995, where they pursued Kulturarbetarlinjen/Culture and administration and Idéhistoria/History of Ideas. In 1998-1999, they attended Capital school of multimedia, focusing on 3D animation/motion graphics, project management, and postproduction. In 1997-1998, Paula Franklin studied at MacMeckarna, specializing in web, graphics, and tools.
