Kumara Wijamuni

Kumara Wijamuni is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the mineral sands industry, currently serving as Director of Alchemy Heavy Metals (Pvt) Limited since September 2020, having previously held the same role from July 2003 to January 2016. Wijamuni has also been a Professional Freelancer in Import & Export business consulting since January 2016 and has contributed significantly to Iluka Resources' international marketing of Foundry Zircon Sands. As CEO of Project Prospects (Pvt) Ltd. from February 2016 to September 2020, Wijamuni led mineral sand import and export operations. Throughout a career beginning in management accounting at Heenatigala Garments (Pvt) Ltd., Wijamuni has developed a strong foundation in finance, trading, and operational management, supported by a Bachelor of Commerce Special Degree from the University of Kelaniya.
