Expert Agricultural Economics And -policy at ILVO (Instituut voor Landbouw, Visserij- en Voedingsonderzoek)

Emile Van Caenegem is an experienced professional in agricultural economics and policy, currently serving as an Expert at the Instituut voor Landbouw, Visserij- en Voedingsonderzoek (ILVO) since February 2024. Previously, Emile held roles as a Trainee in Market Monitoring within the Electricity Department at the EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) and as a Trainee in Trade Policy and Facilitation at the United Nations ESCAP. Emile also interned in Environmental Science at Earth5R earlier in 2023. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe, a Master's degree in Bioscience Engineering from KU Leuven, and a Bachelor's degree in Bio-engineering from KU Leuven. Emile is currently pursuing further studies at City, University of London.
